Internal Board Development:
-This committee works to create direction and development of the various projects and endeavors that the Board of Directors believe will be beneficial to the overall organization. This committee is also responsible for developing "training courses" for each program and members of the organization. It is through such training that the organization strives to sustain itself.

Resources:
-This committee is responsible for all "monetary" activities within the organization. The Treasurer is the contact person for this committee, and responsible for gathering the membership to address grant application, paying of bills, and keeping an accurate account of the organization's funds.

Public Relation & Outreach:
-This committee, headed by the Secretary of the Board, is responsible for any and all Public Relations and efforts to reach the community at large, and specifically the community within the region where the organization is located. In addition, all communication mediums (i.e. website, brochure, event announcements, etc.) fall within the responsibilities of this committee.

Executive:
-This committee, which is comprised of the three officers (i.e. Chair, Treasurer & Secretary), has been given the power ( by the board ) to make limited decisions on issues that do not necessary need the complete board's vote and/or decision. It is believed that having this administrative power, more activity and movement towards accomplishing goals and objectives of the organization will take place. However, all major decisions must have the complete board's approval, and the executive committee makes "recommendations" to the board for such decisions.
NOTE: The existence of these three committees have functioned as a well-oiled machine, and has been of benefit to the overall success of the organization. In addition, it has created an avenue for involvement of Reconstruction's membership, and thus "owenership" of the organization by all.
